Cross-border traffic grows in Sanya in wake of special customs operations

Between Dec 18 in 2025 and May 18 this year, the number of international travelers passing through Sanya Phoenix International Airport saw a hefty increase.

Statistics show that the airport's immigration checkpoint processed a total of 543,000 entries and exits, up 32 percent compared with the previous year.
