Indonesian Hainan Chamber of Commerce delegation visits Sanya

Lin Tao, president of the Indonesian Hainan General Chamber of Commerce, recently led a delegation to Sanya, the coastal resort in China's southernmost Hainan province.

It held discussions with officials from the city's Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and its Investment Promotion Bureau.

The talks aimed to explore opportunities for deepening commerce and trade and discussed practical collaboration.

During the talks, the head of the Sanya Overseas Chinese Affairs Office outlined the city's economic and social development achievements, key industry layouts and support services for overseas Chinese.

They also discussed international connections and support services — paving the way for a regular communications channel to increase practical cooperation and generate mutual benefits.

Officials from the Sanya Investment Promotion Bureau presented the city's key industry development directions, investment incentives, business support services and exclusive opportunities for cross-border cooperation.

They provided detailed answers to questions from overseas Chinese enterprises on policy benefits and cooperation models.

Lin said the visit underscored Sanya's vibrant growth and excellent business environment.

He added that the Indonesian Hainan General Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to promoting Chinese culture and would actively build bridges for efficient collaboration between businesses in both countries.

By leveraging the resources of overseas Chinese businesses, the Chamber aims to highlight investment opportunities in Sanya's key industries, boost the flow of resources, and contribute to the overall development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
