The eighth Hainan Island International Film Festival (HIIFF) will be held in Sanya from Dec 6 to 12, and the main visual poster has just been released.

Inspired by Hainan's natural beauty, the poster's design uses a clean visual style to convey the theme "From Ocean to a Futuristic Lens".

The design features the number "8" made of light and shadow, extended horizontally to resemble the infinity symbol (∞). This represents the promising future of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the film industry, as well as the endless possibilities for film art in a tech-driven world.
