Sanya rural tourism route gains provincial recognition

Hainan recently unveiled five quality rural leisure tourism itineraries and 32 rural leisure tourism destinations. Among them, a beautiful rural leisure tourism route in Sanya was selected.

The route includes these spots: Damao, Zhongliao, Bohou and Liupan villages, as well as Yalong Bay International Rose Valley.

1. Damao village

Damao village is approximately 20 kilometers away from the urban area of Sanya. It primarily promotes healthy sports and leisure experiences, organic agricultural science, and tropical agricultural experiences.

2. Zhongliao village

Zhongliao village is located in Jiyang district, about 16 km away from the city center. It has been awarded the title of "Chinese Ethnic Minority Village", and attracts numerous tourists who want to explore the beauty of rural areas and experience local customs.

3. Bohou village's homestays

Bohou village is situated in the southwest of Yalong Bay National Tourist Resort, approximately 18 km away from the city center. The village focuses on developing the homestay industry, specialty catering industry, as well as cultural and creative industry with Li ethnic culture. Currently, there are 61 homestays and over 1,900 rooms available in the village, making it the largest homestay village in Hainan.

4. Yalong Bay International Rose Valley

Yalong Bay International Rose Valley covers a total area of 2,755 mu (183.7 hectares), and encompasses agricultural fields, reservoirs, and forests. It integrates rose cultivation, rose culture exhibitions, and tourist leisure vacations.

5. Liupan village

Liupan village is located in Jiyang district, approximately 18 km away from the city center. It has obvious regional advantages, convenient transportation systems and a rich ethnic culture. It is mainly known for its folk customs tourism industry, with emphasis on specialty cuisine and cultural entertainment.
