Sanya adds another intl flight route to Russia

On Sept 2, a Russian airline passenger plane carrying 125 passengers flew from Vladivostok, Russia, to Sanya Phoenix International Airport.

It is an "open-jaw route" (referring to a flight where the origin and destination of the outbound and inbound journeys are not the same) from Vladivostok to Sanya to Khabarovsk, operated by the B737-800 aircraft type, with two flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The inbound flight number is SU856, which departs from Vladivostok at 20:10 and arrives in Sanya at 00:10 the following day; the outbound flight number is SU851, which departs from Sanya at 01:30 and arrives in Khabarovsk at 09:30.

Sanya has been expanding its international aviation network. Starting from Sept 3, a total of six round-trip air routes from Sanya to Russia was scheduled to open, with cities including Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, and Yekaterinburg, further enhancing the economic, cultural, and trade exchanges between Sanya and the BRICS countries.
