Sanya-Japan flight route resumed

On Oct 27, at 8:19 am, the Sanya - Nanjing - Osaka flight route was officially resumed when the flight HO161, operated by Joy Airline, took off from Sanya Phoenix International Airport, bound for Osaka, Japan. It is the first Japanese route to resume since the reopening of ports in Sanya.

Using an Airbus A321NEO aircraft, the "Sanya - Nanjing - Osaka" route will operate every day. The outbound flight, designated as HO1611, departs from Sanya at 8:00 am and arrives in Osaka at 3:55 pm. The inbound flight, HO1612, takes off from Osaka at 5:25 pm and lands in Sanya at 00:15 am the following day.

Sanya airport has opened 25 international routes in 2024, connecting to 19 foreign cities. Looking ahead, Sanya airport aims to introduce more international flights, increase the frequency of existing routes, and enhance international accessibility and aviation support capabilities.
