Sanya adds 3 new intl routes to Russia

Recently, a Russian Airlines passenger plane carrying 295 travelers landed at Sanya Phoenix International Airport, marking the commencement of Sanya airport's air service to Russia's three major destinations, namely, Ufa, Kazan, and Saint Petersburg.

Starting on March 22, Russian Airlines launched three new routes: "Ufa-Sanya-Kazan", "Kazan-Sanya-Saint Petersburg" and "Saint Petersburg-Sanya-Ufa". 

The specific information on the route is as follows:

The "Ufa-Sanya-Kazan" route operates twice weekly, with Mondays and Fridays schedules.

The inbound flight number is SU864, departing from Ufa at 8:40 pm and arriving in Sanya at 3:30 am the following day;

The departure flight number is SU863, returning from Sanya at 5 am and arriving in Kazan at 10:10 am;

The "Kazan-Sanya-Saint Petersburg" route operates twice weekly, with Tuesdays and Saturdays schedules.

The inbound flight number is SU862, departing from Kazan at 7:45 pm and arriving in Sanya at 3:30 am the following day;

The departure flight number is SU861, returning from Sanya at 5 am and arriving in Saint Petersburg at 10:55 pm;

The "Saint Petersburg-Sanya-Ufa" route operates twice weekly, with Thursdays and Sundays schedules.

The inbound flight number is SU860, departing from Saint Petersburg at 8:55 pm and arriving in Sanya at 3:30 am the following day;

The departure flight number is SU865, returning from Sanya at 5 am and arriving in Ufa at 11:30 am.

Sanya airport is presently operating an average of 25 round-trip flights to Russia on a weekly basis. The passenger traffic from these Russian routes constitutes over 50 percent of the airport's total international passenger throughput.
