Sanya welcomes new partners to its international network

At the Hainan Tourism and Cultural Promotion and Exchange (Berlin) — organized by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports of Hainan province on March 3 — Sanya signed key agreements with several international partners.

The Sanya Municipal Bureau of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports, along with the Sanya Tourism Board and Sanya Phoenix International Airport Co Ltd, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Air Samarkand in Uzbekistan.

The collaboration will tap into each side's strengths to expand flight routes, boost market promotions and develop travel-related products.

The goal is to launch a direct flight from Sanya to Uzbekistan soon, further strengthening Sanya's air network in Central Asia.

Meanwhile, the Hainan Saiaofei International Travel Agency signed an MOU for digital cooperation in online travel with Easy Booking, a leading online travel agency in Central and Eastern Europe and in Uzbekistan.

As part of the agreement, Sanya Saiaofei will work with Easy Booking to promote Sanya's wide range of products and packages — including leisure vacations and wellness tourism — to tourists in Central Asia.

The goal is to attract more international visitors to discover, learn about and visit Sanya.

Meanwhile, Sanya is also being showcased on March 3-5 at the International Tourism Exchange Berlin (ITB Berlin) — one of the world's premier travel trade shows.

During the event, Sanya is highlighting its unique local tourism offerings and engage in meaningful exchanges with Lonely Planet, major international hotel chains, airlines and cultural tourism organizations.

The goal is to broaden international partnerships and boost Sanya's global tourism profile and appeal.
