Hainan's seed industry and deep-sea science and technology innovation lies in Sanya's Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City. Since it started construction in 2019, the city has been committed to building a cluster of high-standard, open and shared science and technology innovation platforms. So far more than 30 academicians in the seed industry and marine fields have been drawn to carry out scientific research, achievement transformation and application demonstration work in the city.
