Hainan film festival women's section announces ambassador

The 6th Hainan Island International Film Festival or HIIFF, being held on Dec 4-10 in Sanya, has announced that Chinese actress Li Meng is the ambassador of the women's section.

This year's HIIFF is showcasing a collection of outstanding works centered around women – breaking free from traditional storytelling conventions to deeply explore the resilience, wisdom and dreams of women.

Li is inviting film enthusiasts to join her at the island-wide carnival in the Women's Chapter section, where they can experience the healing and empowering essence of these female-centric films.
