As part of their efforts to market summer travel, the municipal governments of Huangshan in Anhui and Sanya in Hainan have signed a letter of intent to jointly tap into the global tourism market.

Among the high-tech products displayed in “Low Carbon Future” - the third exhibition area of the China Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo, a solar energy product which looks like sunflower is particularly attractive to visitors.

"Hainan Week" will be staged between August 7 and 11 at the World Expo to paint a full picture for the culture and customs of the International Tourism Island. The opening ceremony will be held on August 8 at 10 am.
